This one was really fun to make and very special because it began with the “magic wand”, a stick I’d found in the woods on one of my regular hikes. I just loved the shape of it and was amused by the idea of covering it with rhinestones and breathing magic into it.
It sat on my work bench for a long time as I created pieces around it, not sure where it was going to end up. As I was finishing stoning the mannequin hand, the two found themselves next to each other and they fit PERFECTLY!! Then became the process of figuring out how I would connect them… It just all came together when my husband brought in the fishing pole. "VIOLA!” as we like to say in our house. Yes, we know it’s VOILA…
